More importantly, what qualities should the next leader have?
Sadly, the rhetoric tends to focus more on personalities and narrow interests than on what qualities is truly needed for each nation.
Our nominees would probably be proposed on our factional or political interests, instead of clarifying what attributes would best serve collective interests.
Imagine a world where leaders were truly interested in the wellbeing of those they lead and were driven by a continuous desire to make things better for others? A world where leaders would be prepared to sacrifice their lives to give their countrymen a better life.
