Every loving son ages with the same question on his mind: 'What are we going to do about my mom?' This question follows from some lessons I learned from an interview with Jason Calacanis, an American internet entrepreneur, angel investor, author and blogger and Seth Sternberg, CEO of Honor which is a business in the USA focused on private Home Care for the elderly.
Businesses are, for a large part, uninformed and risk averse towards securing IoT. Enterprise, industrial and commercial IoT is a sticking point for business, particularly in South Africa, where boards of directors and senior executives are not yet knowledgeable about the benefits. This causes them to be exceptionally averse to risk, but this is changing as younger and more informed ‘tech-savvy’ executives are being appointed to boards.

Is South Africa headed down a road of jobless growth where a capital-intensive economy is incompatible with a labour-intensive need? This is close to a historic peak of 13%.
