About the author

Envision a young boy (6yrs old) trekking over 20km daily to attend school, barefoot and without proper uniform. Later, Fulufhelo A. Sithole took up part-time jobs as a means to earn money for bread and other needs. During his high school, he peddled fruits on a bicycle from one village to another to secure funds for school transportation, pocket money and etc.

Upon entering university, he faced challenges of funding and getting accommodation; he slept in filling station, classrooms at night and outside due to financial constraints, and later squatter with a friend. When NFSAS funds fell short, he temporarily left school to work for over two years, saving and investing diligently to return to university.
