The Maserati Quattroporte, now in its sixth generation, created the exclusive high performance, luxury sports sedan and in its latest incarnation it has expanded its abilities with a choice of three potent engines and an stylish body with an expansive, spacious interior, while retaining its unique reputation for exclusivity and personalization, all provided by a car maker that is a true automotive legend.
When combined with the three new engines in the Quattroporte, Two Twin Turbo petrol power units and for the first time in a Maserati, an advanced Turbo Diesel, the Quattroporte delivers not just outstanding performance, but also lower fuel consumption and better fuel economy.

Even with all of its technology, the Quattroporte remains true to Maserati’s roots. The Quattroporte GTS, the Quattroporte S and Quattroporte are powered by state-of-the-art high performance engines. The direct-injection engine family boasts a 3.8-litre V8 (Quattroporte GTS) and a 3.0-litre V6 (Quattroporte S and Quattroporte), both of which are all new, twin turbo charged, developed by Maserati Powertrain in partnership with Ferrari Powertrain and built by Ferrari in its world-leading engine construction facility in Maranello.
The engine of the Quattroporte GTS, the flaghship of the range, is Maserati’s new performance benchmark, reaching 100km/h in just 4.7 seconds with a 307km/h top speed.. The Quattroporte S engine doesn’t lack for performance, either, reaching 100km/h in 5.1 seconds and achieving a 285km/h top speed. Both the Quattroporte GTS and the Quattroporte S, have a rear-wheel drive configuration.
Maserati’s new diesel engine, a 3.0 litre V6 Turbo, has been specifically developed according to Maserati’s requirements for of performance, efficiency and driving satisfaction. The Quattroporte Diesel delivers 600 Nm of torque and a maximum power of 275 hp. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h is 6.4 seconds up to a maximum speed of 250 km/h.
The new architecture retains the Quattroporte’s traditionally exquisite handling characteristic thanks to its 50:50 weight distribution, a double-wishbone front suspension, the state-of-the-art five-link rear suspension, the limited rear slip differential and the Maserati Skyhook suspension system.
