Across Africa’s food and feed processing sectors, sustainability is increasingly moving to the centre of operational decision-making. Livestock production is a major contributor to climate change. The world desperately needed to reduce its impact, but not all livestock production is equal. As an African, I find the ongoing debates surrounding livestock production and its role in climate change deeply personal.
