South Africa is particularly well-placed for an active and thriving contact centre hub, with the strides that we have made in the technological sector, our time zone – which makes us particularly attractive to European countries as Contact Centre partners – as well as our generally hardworking and dedicated workforce.

The Contact Centre Management Group (CCMG), the only professional body for contact centres in South Africa, will be hosting its 9th annual conference and expo on October 31 and November 01 this year at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg.

Themed ‘Africa’s Calling’, the conference aims to position and promote the Continent of Africa as the premier contact centre destination of choice for brands in both the product and service industries, and intends to highlight that South Africa, in particular, has the competence in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, technological advances, CX and BX, data analysis, and human capital to establish and operate contact centres successfully.

The speaker line-up will represent the best that the local and international contact centre industry has to offer; from visionaries to senior leaders, and influencers covering relevant topics and contact centre trends.

Plenary sessions will bring together professionals which will cover a broad range of content which might have a primary or secondary impact on the contact centre industry. These include the effect of online retail on shopping behaviour, how the Fourth Industrial Revolution is likely to influence how contact centres operate into the future, as well as the effect of the POPI on the industry.
