Poor candidate experiences in corporate hiring not only drive away top talent but also inflict lasting damage on company reputations. Organisations would do well to consider the unintended impact of flawed hiring practices, a leadership expert says. Ultimately, losing talent, losing trust become a predictable outcome when companies fail to value candidate experience.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that one in six people globally experience a significant disability. Worryingly, many of these individuals continue to suffer unmet health needs – especially those living in developing countries such as South Africa, and particularly in impoverished and rural areas.

What exactly is reputation management? Is it public relations (PR) and clever marketing? Perhaps, crisis or social media management? A reputation is the perception or opinion that others hold about your company. It is formed based on numerous things such as past behaviour, actions, and achievements, and can have a significant impact on how your company is viewed and treated by others.
