We all know the enthusiasm of making ambitious New Year's resolutions each January - get fit! Save money! Spend less screen time! But while our personal goals often fall by the wayside, setting professional resolutions can be genuinely transformative. That's why I recommend starting the year by relooking your corporate travel game.

New year, new dreams, new aspirations, new diets, new action plans, new holiday ideas, new jobs, and typically, also a "new you." We can all relate to the "new year, new you" tagline. A fresh start to get our lives back on track and to live the lives we want to live.

The thing with resolutions is we all make them, and we all break them. But it needn’t be so. The trick is you must look back to go forward, especially with the inevitable New Year’s resolutions. Taking stock of your previous year’s achievements, failings, and surprises helps sort out what it is you want to accomplish in the coming year. Focus on the specifics.
